Rachel Carson Council: A Calendar of Days

WriteForChange is working with members of the Rachel Carson Council (RCC) in Silver Spring, Maryland to develop a special calendar book that will present the life and work of Rachel Carson in twelve portraits. Each month will include a facet of the rich body of work and advocacy, friendship and personal struggle that Rachel Carson left as her legacy.

Include with each month will be information from the RCC’s Green Mantle Initiative intended to help the pubic adopt environmentally-friendly (green) practices.
