Susan L. Feathers
Founder and Executive Director
Susan Feathers writes to affect social change in the direction of a more democratic society. She gives voice to the earth, to children, and the underserved in our contemporary American culture.
Perhaps because of her childhood traveling America with her father, an Air Force career pilot, Susan is able to work effectively in diverse environments. The great granddaugter of a Native American, Susan devotes a part of her professional and personal time to tribal communities, acting as a bridge of communication between the First Nations and the present government.
Susan Feathers comes from a family of teachers. Her career in educational settings includes middle school and high school science teacher; deaf education and college students with disabilities program manager; marine biology instructor at the Dana Point Marine Institute (now the Ocean Institute); program director at the William O. Douglas Outdoor Classroom; education liaison to K-12 schools for Arizona State University's Center for Environmental Studies; director of education at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.
For each of these settings, Susan served as a successful grant writer, and developed research and public education materials — experiences that now serve her clients at WriteForChange.

Molly Connors
Webmaster
Molly Connors has been creating websites for about five years. What began as a part-time volunteer chore blossomed into her full-time passion. She worked for nearly 15 years at the IBM Research Center as a computer programmer on prototype machines. After a year off, Molly was an Intranet developer for PepsiCola Co.. These positions enabled her to glean the skills for her present occupation. Most of her work is for non-profit organizations, but she enjoys a mixed clientele.
Molly has overall responsibility for three non-profit websites: ONDA (Oregon Natural Desert Association); Bend Area Habitat for Humanity; and Advocates for the West (Boise, ID). She has known Susan Feathers for nearly 30 years, and their new working relationship has opened up an exciting new area for Molly: Writing for Change.
